T Sisters

Please enjoy this fun episode with the wonderful T Sisters, recorded at a private house-concert/Blue Bear School of Music benefit in a beautiful Victorian in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill. This one features a few gorgeous originals plus covers of the Beatles and a stunning opening number originally by Chumbawamba.

This is the sisters second appearance on the show, this time to talk about the upcoming release of their EP “We Are Bound” which was produced by Oliver Wood of the Wood Brothers who also appear on the EP.

The Wood Brothers + Rock Poster Artist Emek

After two sold out shows at the Fillmore we were delighted to be joined by the Wood Brothers for a completely jam packed show at the Haight Street Art Center. Brothers Chris and Oliver along with percussionist Jano Rix treated the audience to tunes off their latest album “One Drop of Truth” and two stunning covers including Tom Petty’s “You Wreck Me”

As a special added bonus we were treated to a guest appearance by renowned rock poster artist Emek who’s exhibit “ARTIFACTS: The Rock Art of EMEK – A Career Retrospective” is currently showing at the center. Emek is the poster artist of choice for bands like the Foo Fighters, Radiohead and Queens of the Stone Age.

Following two nights at the Fillmore, the Wood Brothers will treat us to an evening of conversation and song at the Haight Street Art Center. The band just released their sixth album, ‘One Drop of Truth,’ which dives headfirst into a deep wellspring of sounds, styles and influences. 
As usual we’ll have a complimentary happy-hour downstairs in the poster art gallery courtesy of 21st Amendment Brewery and Whetstone WIne Cellars from 6-7pm. Guests will enjoy the brand new exhibit ARTIFACTS: The Rock Art of EMEK – A Career Retrospective.
This event is FREE to attend but guests are encouraged to make a donation to the Blue Bear School of Music at the show.
